ERDF Management and Monitoring

In the Spanish Multiregional Operational Plan 2021-2027, it is foreseen that the Managing Authority will delegate certain functions referred to in Article 72 of Regulation (EU) No. 1060/2021 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 June 2021 to Intermediary Bodies after formal designation.

In this sense, Adif shall perform the functions of Intermediary Body for managing aid from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) dedicated to Adif and Adif Alta Velocidad actions under the responsibility of the Managing Authority in the Spanish ERDF Multiregional Operational Program 2021-2027 within the following Policy Objective established in EU Regulation 1060/2021 on Common Provisions of the Funds:

Priority P 3.A Mobility:

• SO 3.1 the development of a TEN-T resistant to climate change, that is smart, safe, sustainable and intermodal.
