Interoperability

At the request of interested parties, Adif processes requests for registration, cancellation and user modifications relating to the Adif/Adif AV key management domain, as well as requests relating to the generation, installation and deletion of keys in RBCs of the Adif and Adif AV network.

"The following documents respond to the requirements of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1695 of 10 August, 2023, according to which infrastructure managers, with the support of ETCS and GSM-R suppliers for their network, must submit to the European Railway Agency, by 28 March, 2024, at the latest for lines equipped and in operation on that date, the definition of the necessary checks on their network of the technical compatibility between ETCS and radiocommunication (GSM-R) on-board voice or data equipment and the track-side parts of the CMS subsystems."

The technical documentation on the compatibility of train detection systems in accordance with the Technical Specification for Interoperability (TSI) is now available. This is in line with Article 13 of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1695 of August 10, 2023, concerning the technical specifications for interoperability related to the control-command and signaling subsystems of the European Union railway system, repealing Regulation (EU) 2016/919.
 
This documentation responds to the requirements of the European Commission following regulatory changes relating to the TSI of the Control-Command and Signalling Subsystems of the European Union's rail system, promoted with the aim of advancing the interoperability of the aforementioned rail system, improving the digitalisation of the sector and promoting rail freight transport.
