Adif's international activity

Nuestra actividad en el ámbito internacional se centra en tres objetivos principales:

La defensa de los intereses de Adif y del sector ferroviario español en foros internacionales.
La cooperación con homólogos de otros países y la puesta en valor del conocimiento de nuestros expertos y de toda la industria ferroviaria española en proyectos internacionales
El avance en las relaciones de transporte con nuestros vecinos europeos, impulsando los Corredores ferroviarios europeos de la red TEN-T.

Adif's work in international forums

La actividad de Adif está cada vez más influida por leyes, normativas, estándares técnicos y procedimientos que tienen su origen en instituciones y organizaciones internacionales, principalmente la UE. Una parte importante de la tarea internacional de Adif es el impulso y participación en esos foros de discusión, defendiendo los intereses de nuestra entidad y de la industria y tecnología española.

Desde su creación, Adif ha participado en los organismos internacionales que han resultado útiles a su misión y a sus valores, en línea con la tradición de cooperación que las empresas ferroviarias han seguido durante años y que les ha permitido evolucionar desde un punto de vista técnico y también social y político.

La actividad llevada a cabo por los distintos organismos internacionales reviste formas muy distintas pero resulta imprescindible que Adif esté presente y participe activamente en ellos.

European Corridors and EEIGs

We work closely with our European partners to ensure the best and most efficient rail connections with our neighbors, through the European Corridors, as well as the promotion of freight traffic with the EU.

European Economic Interest Groupings (EEIGs) are legal instruments aimed at promoting cross-border cooperation to achieve objectives within the European Union.
Specifically, the EEIGs in which Adif participates have the purpose of facilitating the implementation of certain railway corridors and conducting studies that make them a reality in order to promote international traffic, resolving issues related to infrastructure, management or processing of applications and transit permits between countries.

Concretamente, las AEIE en las que participa Adif tienen el propósito de facilitar la implantación de ciertos corredores ferroviarios y la realización de estudios que los hagan realidad con el objetivo de promover los tráficos internacionales, resolviendo cuestiones relacionadas con la infraestructura, la gestión o la tramitación de solicitudes y permisos de tránsito entre países.
