Adif’s Code of Ethics

Title
The Adif Code of Ethics, approved by the Board of Directors, aims to formalize the expected standards of integrity, responsible and transparent behavior of all the people who work at Adif, in the day-to-day performance of their duties and in their professional relationships.

The Code aims to translate Adif's corporate values and principles into desired behavior, taking as a starting point the culture of the organization, the legislation that is applicable to it and the entity's commitment to ethics and transparency.

Fight against fraud and corruption

The Institutional Declaration on the fight against fraud, made by the President of the organization demonstrates its commitment to maintaining the highest standards in compliance with legal, ethical and moral norms and adopting the principles of integrity, impartiality and honesty, implementing a zero tolerance policy with regard to fraud and corruption.

For this reason, the main goal of the institutional declaration is to promote an ethical culture within the organization that exerts a dissuasive effect in terms of any type of fraudulent activity and that makes prevention and detection possible.

The entity also has a Corporate Anti-Fraud Policy, committing to good governance under the principles of ethics and transparency. Likewise, there is a commitment to ensure the correct management of community funds, especially those from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, through a plan of specific anti-fraud measures approved on January 25, 2022 by the Administrative Council.
