High-speed lines

 
In the terms 2000-2006 and 2007-2013, the funding received from the Cohesion Fund, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the TEN-T amounted to 11,146 million euros.
For the 2014-2020 term, a funding amounting to 1.478,3 million euros is expected.The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), via the Multiregional OP for Spain 2014-2020, Thematic Objective 7: Sustainable transport, contributes 1,286.6 million euros. ERDF funding amounting to 3.4 million euros has also been granted. This funding is managed by the Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE, as per its acronym in Spanish) (See funding information in R + D + i​​​​​). The European Union's Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is contributing 188.3 million euros.
