Economic and management information

Adif AV is a public body, integrated into the institutional public sector, and in terms of its actions, the entity is subject to the general principles of legality, efficiency, budget stability and financial sustainability, as well as the principle of transparency in its management.

Law 11/2018 of December 28, on non-financial disclosure, which incorporates Directive 2014/95/EU into the national legal system, obliges large companies and public interest entities that, on their dates of close of the balance sheet, exceed the criterion of an average number of employees greater than 500 during the year and are classified as large (turnover of €40M; assets worth €20M), to include in the Management Report a State of Non-Financial Information (EINF). This report must contain information related, at a minimum, to environmental, social and good governance (ESG) issues, as well as those related to personnel, respect for Human Rights and the fight against corruption and bribery.

The ultimate goal of non-financial information is the creation of value for our stakeholders, hence the importance of reporting of sustainability in the business field, based on transparency on ESG issues that go beyond financial issues.
